I've got no keys, and I've explored as much as I can.

I'm thinking that the key I need is in the room on the first basement on the left side that I can access, but I don't know how to make it appear. Help?

The next key you can retrieve is on the first basement, in the rightest room with a chest. You need to use your lantern to access at this room (by the down).

Made some progress. I have no keys again, and it looks like I'm stuck. Most rooms look like I need to be able to walk on water or to come from a hole above or something.

There's a room on the left in the second basement with two torches and three blocks of ice I can slide as much as I want. Am I supposed to do something with those? Otherwise I'm totally stuck again.

Jeeze, you guys sure made a hard game. I've never had to ask for help on a real Zelda game, lol.

Try to use your lantern on the blocks of ice near to a torche.

You have to burn the block with the 3. And... good luck for the others, lol

As it is, there are three rooms I have been to which contains chests (two of them I think I have to put out the fire - but I cannot seem to do that.. tried something simular to that remove ice block near torch but with the freeze enemies, but no good. The last one seems to be something reachable only by falling from above, seeing how I cannot use the hookshot on chests.

edit: nvm, done did it! Now I just think I should have the fire rod, any hints where that might be found?

edit2: did it with the lantern, done with the level!

I have the same problem. I cannot pass on the water temple. How can I get the key to open the sub-boss room?

If you have really the same problem, you have to use lantern to open a new way. But I need a screen of your map to know what you have to do now.

Ok, I'm in the room with two torches, three non-numbered blocks of ice, and a shut door. I assume you have to get two of the blocks of ice between the torches, but I can't find the pattern. Help!
